Zxtech Ltd (“Zxtech”, "we", "us", "our") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal data when you use our website or services.

"We" or "us" refers to Zxtech Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12495813.
"You" or "your" refers to the user of our website or services.

Zxtech Ltd, as a data controller, collects personal information from you, such as your email address, name, address, phone number, and date of birth. As part of our registration process we are required to verify your identity and we will use the information you have provided to do this. We may also collect anonymous demographic information and information about your device and app usage.
We use your personal information for various purposes, including:

  • Opening accounts (controller activity, with your consent)

  • Providing and improving the app (controller activity)

  • Communicating with you about the app and our services (controller activity)

  • Fulfilling our obligations arising from contracts (controller activity)

  • Carrying out research and analysis (controller activity, with your consent)

  • Meeting legal and regulatory requirements (controller activity)

  • When you fill out a form on our website, such as the contact form  (controller activity)

  • When you use our services  (controller activity)

  • When you interact with us through social media, email or other online services or platform  (controller activity)

  • When you visit our website, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, such as your IP address, browser type, and website usage data  (controller activity)
     

Zxtech Ltd is also a processor of personal data acting as an agent on behalf of product or services providers, abiding by the provisions set out in article 5 of the GDPR (that information is processed lawfully and fairly), and in articles 28 and 29 of the GDPR.  


We process your personal data on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent

  • Legitimate interests

  • Contractual necessity

  • Legal obligation

  • Passing data to third party partners for the purpose of opening accounts (processor activity, with your consent)


We may automatically collect information about:

  • Your computer hardware and software, such as: your IP address, device type and version, operating system and platform and time zone setting.

  • Your visit, such as: the URL clickstream to and from our app, page response times, download errors, visits to pages and products, page interaction information and any forms completed.

  • We may use technical and anonymous data such as details about your device, length of visit to pages on our app, page views and navigation paths, details about the number of times you use our app, time zone settings and other features on the devices you


We use personal information which we automatically collect from you to:

  • Utilise our platform for internal purposes including troubleshooting, data analysis and testing.

  • Improve our app and ensure that content from the app is presented in the most effective manner for you.

  • Allow you to participate in interactive features of the app and our services when you chose to do so.

  • Keep our app safe and secure

  • Study how customers use our products/services, to develop them, to grow our business and to decide our marketing strategy

  • Carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between us and to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us
     

We may also act as a data processor for personal data received from third parties, such as analytics providers, advertising networks, payment providers, technical delivery providers and search information providers. In these cases, we process the data in accordance with their instructions and relevant data protection laws.


We may also receive data from publicly available sources such as Companies House and the Electoral Register based inside the UK. 

 


4. Sensitive Data
We do not collect any Sensitive Data about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.


Use of your Personal Information for Communication purposes
We use personal information whether that be through the mobile app, contact form on our website, through email, text, social media messaging, social media posting or any other communication that you send us to:

  • Provide you with information and promotional emails of our products and services.

  • Contact you via any surveys to conduct research about our current services or new services that we may offer.

  • We process this data for the purposes of communicating with you, for record keeping and for the establishment, pursuance or defence of legal claims. Our lawful ground for this processing is our legitimate interests which in this case are to reply to communications sent to us, to keep records and to establish, pursue or defend legal claims.

5. Purpose of Data Collection
We collect your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide you with products and services.

  • To communicate with you about our/relevant products and services.

  • To improve our relevant products and services.

  • To comply with legal and regulatory requirements.


We require all partners to whom we transfer your data to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We only allow such third parties to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
Please note that if you directly disclose personal information through public channels, this information may be collected and used by others and we will not be liable for this.


6. Security of your Personal Information
The data we collect is stored primarily within the UK. However, there may be occasions during technical maintenance and security updates whereby the data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at a destination outside the UK. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the UK.


Countries outside of the UK and European Economic Area (EEA) do not always offer the same levels of protection to your personal data, so European law has prohibited transfers of personal data outside of the EEA unless the transfer meets certain criteria.

Some of our third parties service providers are based outside the UK so their processing of your personal data will involve a transfer of data outside the UK.

Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK, we do our best to ensure a similar degree of security of data by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is in place:

  • We will only transfer your personal data to countries that the European Commission have approved as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data by; or

  • Where we use certain service providers, we may use specific contracts or codes of conduct or certification mechanisms approved by the European Commission which give personal data the same protection it has in Europe; or 

  • If they use US-based providers that are part of EU-US Privacy Shield, we may transfer data to them, as they have equivalent safeguards in place.
     

By submitting your personal information, you agree to this transfer, storing and processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy policy. All information that you provide to is store on our secure servers. All data captured will be encrypted using SSL technology.

 

We have put in place security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed, or accessed without authorisation. We also allow access to your personal data only to those employees and partners who have a business need to know such data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they must keep it confidential.


We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach if we are legally required to.


Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not 100% secure. Whilst we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to and from our app – it is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to protect it.


7. Retention of your Personal Information
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, regulatory or reporting requirements. 
Client records are retained for a minimum of 6 years after the end of the customer relationship.

Data subjects have the right to access, rectify, or erase their personal data where we remain compliant with the above. 

  • We decide the correct amount of time to keep the data by considering its contents, nature, sensitivity, potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the processing purposes, and any applicable legal requirements.

  • For tax purposes the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they stop being customers.

  • Anonymized data may be retained indefinitely without further notice.
     

We regularly review and update our data retention policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations


8. Marketing Communications
Our lawful ground of processing your personal data to send you marketing communications is either your consent or our legitimate interests (namely to grow our business).

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we may send you marketing communications from us if (i) you made a purchase or asked for information from us about our goods or services or (ii) you agreed to receive marketing communications and in each case you have not opted out of receiving such communications since. Under these regulations, if you are a limited company, we may send you marketing emails without your consent. However, you can still opt out of receiving marketing emails from us at any time.
 
Before we share your personal data with any third party for their own marketing purposes we will get your express consent.
 
You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you or by emailing us at support@zxtechuk.com at any time.
If you opt out of receiving marketing communications this opt-out does not apply to personal data provided as a result of other transactions, such as purchases, warranty registrations etc


9. GDPR Compliance
Zxtech Ltd is committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This European law sets standards for the protection of personal data. We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR.  
Your Rights under the GDPR
In addition to the rights mentioned earlier, you have the following specific rights under the GDPR:

  • Right to access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to rectification: If you believe that the personal data we hold about you is inaccurate, you have the right to request that it be corrected.

  • Right to erasure: In certain circumstances, you have the right to request that your personal data be deleted.

  • Right to restriction of processing: In certain circumstances, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.  

  • Right to data portability: You have the right to request that your personal data be transferred to another organisation in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. 

  • Right to object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for certain purposes, such as direct marketing.

The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access information that we hold about you.
Under data protection laws you have rights in relation to your personal data that include the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent.

Any request to access the data may be subject to an administration fee in order to meet our costs in providing you with the details of the information we hold about you. This will be confirmed after review of the request. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe, usually within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you.

12. Use of cookies
Cookies are small text files - containing letters and numbers - which are downloaded by your computer when you access and use certain websites. Our app uses Cookies to recognise a device and provide content accordingly.
We may use cookies for the following:

  • Identify whether you are signed in to our app

  • Test content on our app. E.g. A/B testing of content

  • Store information about your preferences

  • To recognise when you return to our app

Cookies do not provide us with access to your computer or any information about you, other than that which you choose to share with us.

Session and load balancer cookies
We may use session cookies to store an identifier to track whether you are signed in. Session cookies contain no personally identifiable information, but enable our individual web servers to keep track of your progress throughout your visit. They expire as soon as you sign out.
